Born and raised in Seattle, Jonas Myers grew up playing music with his family, and started gigging at age 12. He was a member of the prestigious Garfield High School Jazz Ensemble through 2009, when they won the Essentially Ellington Competition at Lincoln Center in New York. While at Whitman College, he played in many bands—on piano, bass, guitar, and vocals—and studied classical piano and composition. He’s now back in Seattle pursuing music as a full time career.
